As mentioned previously, a single zone can consist of several rectangles that form up a so-called "pizza box" shape. The user can access these rectangles for both reading and writing, and also can append new rectangles and remove existing ones. The following API provides the ability to get and set the rectangles for a particular zone:

• IG_REC_zone_layout_get
• IG_REC_zone_layout_set

Zone rectangles can be inserted and removed using the following functions:

• IG_REC_zone_rect_add
• IG_REC_zone_rect_subtract

Function IG_REC_zone_node_array_get returns a bounding polygon of the zone.
